The 2026 Thyroid Surgery Symposium will focus on the clinical application and advancement of endoscopic and robotic thyroid surgery using the da Vinci Xi and SP systems. Leading experts in thyroid and head and neck surgery will share their clinical experience in transitioning from open to robotic surgery, selecting appropriate approaches such as BABA and transoral techniques, and optimizing surgical techniques and team setup. Key topics will include nerve injury prevention, intraoperative nerve monitoring, bleeding control, management of large thyroid tumors, and troubleshooting of challenging surgical scenarios. Through surgical video demonstrations, case-based discussions, and experience sharing, the symposium aims to enhance surgical safety, technical proficiency, and the clinical application of minimally invasive and robotic thyroid surgery. |
